CONCLUSION Altogether, I established NTP as a powerful immune-stimulating treatment adjuvant to cisplatin-based standard-of-care therapy in head and neck cancer. Furthermore, my work provides a strong foundation for incorporating innate immunity into future plasma-oncology research, further expanding its therapeutic potential. Ultimately, these findings pave the way for a rationally-designed combination strategy for NTP into clinical oncology.
