116 Chapter 4 Conclusion The introduction of smart functions in medical beds in our hospital has shown promise and was widely regarded as an improvement. Patients responded positively, giving the beds favorable ratings, despite many not receiving proper instructions on their use. Nurses, while acknowledging the potential benefits, encountered several barriers to effective use of the smart functions. Equally important is the involvement of nurses in the preparation process, the provision of comprehensive training, and the development of clear and accessible protocols.
