Association between change in symptom severity and change in personal recovery Table 2 shows the correlations between change in (domains of) symptom severity and change in (domains of) personal recovery. Reduction of symptom severity in all domains, besides manic excitement, is correlated with improvement of personal recovery, with reduction of depression/anxiety symptom severity showing the most substantial association with change in personal recovery (r = -0.522, p < 0.001).
