Activities In performing the research for this thesis, we collaborated with a diverse interdisciplinary team, consisting of clinicians, patients, epidemiologists, medical humanities, and professional artists. This interdisciplinary collaboration has widened the scope of the research conducted. The results of the different studies in this thesis have been published in international scientific research journals. Furthermore, most of the studies and their results have been presented and discussed at (inter)national scientific meetings. To stimulate interdisciplinary cooperation between Care, Science, Education, The Arts and to promote dialogue in women’s healthcare a non-profit foundation ‘Junction- the Art of Care’ was founded.
