Participants Focus group participants were recruited from a sample of survey respondents (n=378)25 from a panel of the Dutch mental health umbrella organization MIND with approximately 4200 members (www.wijzijnmind.nl). Registration was open to all who wanted to participate as a person with lived experience (from now on called “patient”) or as a person with a close relationship with a patient (“close one”). All 378 participants were invited to leave their email address to receive an invitation for a focus group, 117 participants left their email addresses.
