With your permission, I am recording this interview, to type it out later and process it anonymously for this research. All audio recordings will be deleted after transcribing. Do you agree with me recording this conversation and using the results anonymously for my research? Do you also agree with the use of your patient feedback for this same study? Warming-up questions: What task do you currently have? What does your week look like? Do you currently have many patient contacts? Is that different from earlier in your previous teaching hospital? What is different then? What did your range of duties look like when your questionnaires ran? General questions relating to shared decision making (SDM): What is your opinion about SDM? What do you understand by SDM? What is good SDM? What do you think of your own SDM skills? How have you worked to improve these skills in recent years? Have you been taught how to apply SDM? Do you think that your training has provided you with sufficient facilities (training, time, space) to learn SDM? Who or what determines to what extent SDM is discussed in a consultation with a patient? When do you use the principles of SDM? When not? Then why is that so? Questions relating to the patient feedback project: How did you experience your participation in this project? What things have stayed with you the most? What did you learn? Why did that stick with you? What do you think of the patient feedback you received? What do you think of this way of getting feedback? Is feedback from patients useful at all? Why yes, why not? Has participation in this project changed your actions? Have you done something concrete with the feedback? How then / what then? And if this is not the case, why not? Closure: Do you have any suggestions on how SDM should be addressed in your training? Do you have any comments or points that were not covered in this interview, but that you would like to share? A
