Appendix 330 and Disaster Preparedness Centre (PDPC), aiming to use her experience from the last few years to help prevent and prepare for future disease outbreaks. In Bangkok, she hopes to continue her career trajectory with a focus on tropical diseases and (re-)emerging infections. Elke continues to have a passion for the marine environment and tries to spend her holidays on, in or under water wherever possible. She currently lives in Ari, Bangkok together with her husband, Pierre-Matthieu.
