Chapter 5 164 Supplementary Figure S1. Flow diagram of participant identification, enrolment, follow-up and analysis in the RECoVERED Study LTFU= Lost to follow-up, defined as active withdrawal from the study or two consecutive no-show appointments despite three attempts to establish contact. The public health service study site recorded the total number of individuals approached for inclusion, whereas hospital sites recorded total number of patient records screened for eligibility, after which a subset (number not recorded) were then approached for inclusion into the study. Age and sex characteristics for the approached individuals included in and excluded from the study were only available for the public health service site. At the public health service, those who declined to take part in the study were slightly younger than those who agreed to take part (median [IQR] age 35 [27-49] versus 38 [28-53] years, p=0.039) but there was no difference in sex (p=0.405).
