122 Chapter 6 [18F]FDG PET/CT In total, 28 lesions, including 14 lesions in patients with advanced NSCLC, were identified by [18F]FDG PET/CT. [18F]FDG uptake was variable between patients, with [18F]FDG SUVpeak values ranging from 0.9 to 33.8. [18F]FDG SUVpeak was related to lesion size (Spearman ρ 0.59, p = 0.001), but not to histological subtype (Spearman ρ 0.44, p = 0.10) or [89Zr]Zr-DFO-avelumab SUVpeak (Spearman ρ 0.40, p = 0.14). In patients with early-stage NSCLC, [18F]FDG SUVpeak in the tumor lesions (n=19) did not correlate to pathological response (Spearman ρ 0.06, p = 0.83, data not shown). The PD-L1 expression as determined by IHC was correlated to [18F]FDG SUVpeak (Pearson r 0.61, p= 0.06; Spearman ρ 0.65, p= 0.04).
