135 6 JIA uveitis: a typical anterior uveitis, but the retinal function can be affected the primary site of inflammation in this form of uveitis is in the anterior part of the eye. Further research is needed to evaluate if there is, similar to other forms of uveitis, an associations between the activity of uveitis and ERG abnormalities in JIA uveitis. If such an association is found, ERG abnormalities could warrant an intensifying of treatment in JIA uveitis in order to prevent a permanent loss of retinal function.
